Son of Thomas William and Mary Jane Henderson (father was a police constable), born Clapham 1897. In 1911 lived at 34 Arkwright Road Hampstead, age 14, working as an office boy. By the time of his death the family had moved to 5c Willow Buildings, Willow Rd. He was an Old boy of HPS; he joined Middlesex Regt as Private – 2968. Commemorated on the War Memorial in Church Row.
