Henry, born 1898, was one of 12 children (10 living) of Henry and Sarah; father was a bricklayer. In 1911 Henry jnr was at school (he is an old boy of HPS), and the family lived in 2 rooms in Ma.. Buildings, Hampstead. [Herbert, born 1887, was a member of the church Men’s Club, and an ex member of Choir. In 1911 he was working as a house painter, had been married for one year, and lived with wife and mother-in-law at 27 Constantine road]. Commemorated on the War Memorial in Church Row.
