Son of W G Snowdon Gard, KC and Mary Anne Harriet Gard of 9 Rosslyn Hill, Hampstead (1911, 1921); father was a social worker, councillor and member of the Board of Guardians. Old boy of UCS; became a Solicitor. Joined H.A.C. 24/08/1914; went to France 18/09/1914. Commemorated on the War Memorial in Church Row.
